Ed Reisman
Technical Advisor
Ed Reisman is the Technical Advisor of the Alcohol
and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau's Advertising,
Labeling and Formulation Division. Mr. Reisman's
responsibilities are to provide guidance and
assistance to the Division Chief, industry members
and the public on issues relating to regulatons
and policies regarding beverage alcohol labeling
and formulation matters. Mr. Reisman has more
than 29 years government service, with more
than 26 years of alcohol beverage related experience
with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
(ATF) and the Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). During
his career he has worked in a variety of interesting
ATF Specialist positions in the Product Compliance
Branch, Rulings Branch, Tax Compliance Branch,
Distilled Spirits and Tobacco Branch, FAA, Wine
and Beer Branch and for the past eight years
in the Advertising, Labeling and Formulation
Division. He was recently selected as the new
Technical Advisor. Mr. Reisman has two school
aged children and lives in the Maryland suburbs.
