INTERNATIONAL TRADE DIVISION (ITD) WEB SITE Updates (TAIWAN)

ITD has updated the section on the TTB Web site concerning exporting beverage alcohol to Taiwan.  Exporters should be aware that Taiwan has substantially modified their regulations over the years to make the process easier and transparent. English versions of Taiwan's alcohol regulations can be located on the internet via our Web site.

TTB's main functions are:

  • Investigating alcohol and tobacco permits for distilleries, wineries, breweries, and tobacco manufacturers, importers and exporters
  • Regulating the alcohol and tobacco industries
  • Preventing misleading labeling or advertising of alcohol beverages
  • Conducting laboratory analysis of alcohol and tobacco products
