Current labeling regulations appear to be a mishmash of contradictory requirements and prohibitions that make apples-to-apples comparisons between products impossible. At a minimum, the TTB should allow: 1. serving size 2. servings per container 3. alcohol per serving 4. calories per serving 5. grams of fat, carbs, protein per serving 6. a standard serving definition (The definition recognized by most government agencies is 0.6 ounces of alcohol) This basic information would help consumers make more informed decisions about what and how much they drink. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Melissa Holt 2004 Brady Avenue Brownwood, Texas 76801 cc: Senator Kay Hutchison Senator John Cornyn Representative Mike Conaway Chairman John Steen
