For years, Americans have been able to learn basic information about what we eat and drink by simply looking at the product's packaging. There is however, an exception. Alcoholic beverages, consumed my millions of Americans each day, are presently prohibited from displaying nutritional and serving fact information on the bottle. Americans should not be in the dark about this information. I am requesting that you waive the current regulations in place that prevent American consumers from seeing exactly what it is they are drinking and how it fits in to an overall healthy lifestyle. Armed with the facts, Americans could make more informed, responsible decisions. I urge you to allow alcohol beverage companies to place Serving Facts labels on their packaging. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Tracey Shellman 1825 Kater Street Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19146 cc: Senator Arlen Specter Senator Rick Santorum Representative Chaka Fattah Chairman Jonathan Newman
