Funding Lapse Information for TTB Employees

Due to a lapse in appropriations beginning on December 22, 2018, most TTB operations are currently closed.  The below links and guidance are intended to provide TTB employees with ongoing information during the government shutdown.

This page will be updated as additional resources and information are available.  For continuing information on the shutdown, TTB employees are encouraged to monitor this page, news outlets, OPM.gov, and TTB's Emergency Hotline (877-235-4376).

Second Furlough Notice for TTB Employees (January 18, 2019):  
The furlough notice that employees received on December 21, 2018 expires in thirty (30) days.  Since the furlough will exceed 30 days, and due to a lapse in appropriations, this memorandum is to notify furloughed employees that the Department of the Treasury, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, will again furlough you effective January 21, 2019. Furloughed employees are required to read and acknowledge receipt of the January 18, 2019 furlough notice through the means described in the memorandum.
