Two Virginia Companies and Three Individuals Indicted on Cigarette Smuggling Charges

On Tuesday, October 3, 2017, three individuals and two Virginia companies were indicted on charges of illegally transporting cigarettes across state lines to evade tobacco taxes.
Each defendant faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 on each count.
