Greetings! This week's top news includes information about disaster relief, our latest proposed information collections, and the release of COLAs Online 4.1.

DISASTER RELIEF

If your business has been impacted by a natural disaster, you may be eligible for a waiver of late filing, payment, or deposit penalties. PROPOSED INFORMATION COLLECTIONS; COMMENT REQUEST (NO. 66)

On Monday, September 11, 2017, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, we published in the Federal Register a notice requesting public comments on six existing TTB information collections (forms, recordkeeping requirements, surveys, etc).

These information collections are:

  • TTB F 5100.18, Application for Amended Basic Permit under the Federal Alcohol Administration Act (OMB Control No. 1513–0019);
  • TTB F 5150.22, Application for an Industrial Alcohol User Permit (OMB Control No. 1513–0028);
  • TTB F 5210.5 and F 5250.1, Report—Manufacturer of Tobacco Products or Cigarette Papers and Tubes; and Report—Manufacturer of Processed Tobacco (OMB Control No. 1513–0033);
  • TTB REC 5530/2, Manufacturers of Nonbeverage Products—Records to Support Claims for Drawback (OMB Control No. 1513–0073);
  • TTB REC 5900/1, Proprietors or Claimants Exporting Liquors (OMB Control No. 1513–0075); and
  • Administrative Remedies—Closing Agreements (OMB Control No. 1513–0099).

COLAS ONLINE 4.1 IS HERE

COLAs Online 4.1 is here! In order to improve image rendering by various Web browsers, we are no longer accepting TIFF files (.tif, .tiff). COLAs Online now only accepts JPEG files (.jpg, .jpeg, .jpe). You must submit your label in the acceptable file format.
