IN THIS ISSUE

Greetings! This week's top news includes information about how to use the Public COLA Registry. It also includes announcements that Permits Online is temporarily shut down so we can make important upgrades to the system, and we're updating the guidance and online help available to Permits Online users.

USING TTB'S PUBLIC COLA REGISTRY TO SEARCH CERTIFICATES OF LABEL APPROVAL (COLA)

Want to search for approved labels? Need to know more about TTB's Public COLA Registry? The Public COLA Registry should not be confused with COLAs Online. There is a difference. COLAs Online is TTB's system for the submission and review of COLAs. The Public COLA Registry does not require a username or password. The Public COLA Registry allows the public to view information such as:

  • Approved, Expired, Surrendered, and Revoked COLA details;
  • Limited Basic Permit information;
  • Images of the approved electronically filed label applications (printable versions) received after June 2003 and most paper COLAs issued since 1999.

For more information about how to use the Public COLA Registry, see Using TTB's Public COLA Registry to Search Certificates of Label Approval (COLA)

PERMITS ONLINE IS UNAVAILABLE JULY 26 - 30, 2018

Permits Online is currently shut down through July 30 so that we can implement major improvements to the system.  The New Permits Online will be available on July 31, 2018.

COMING NEXT WEEK: THE NEW PERMITS ONLINE

We're making big improvements to Permits Online so that it will be the best option for all users:

  • First time filers
  • Current Permits Online users
  • Current paper filers

For most industry members, there'll be no need to ever worry about sending paper application forms to TTB again.

We're also updating the guidance and online help available to Permits Online users so you'll have all the information you'll need right at your fingertips. We're excited about the NEW Permits Online, and look forward to you being able to use it.
