Andrew Seehusen is serving as Deputy Assistant Administrator, Taxation, in the Office of Permitting and Taxation. Mr. Seehusen provides onsite leadership and oversight for all permitting and tax services matters, supporting the Bureau’s ability to accomplish its strategic goals to Improve Business Qualification and Improve Tax Compliance. 

Mr. Seehusen joined TTB in 2015 and has held senior analyst and senior auditor positions focusing on internal control and program improvement efforts, which included three years working from TTB’s National Revenue Center (NRC). During this time, he developed in-depth expertise relating to key mission functions across the Permitting and Taxation directorate. Mr. Seehusen was instrumental in advancing Permitting and Taxation’s risk management processes and in establishing TTB’s Enterprise Risk Management program, ensuring alignment between key risks and opportunities and the TTB strategic plan.

Prior to TTB, Mr. Seehusen held a variety of program oversight and audit related roles with the Department of Energy's Office of Inspector General and the Government Accountability Office. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
