Part Three - What to Expect after Submission
Congratulations, you have submitted your application package to TTB! Now we’ll discuss what you can expect as your application is processed.
When you submit an application package, different tracking numbers are assigned for each part of the package. These numbers are unique and designed to identify the type of application or request, such as the type of commodity application for which you are filing, business entity information, or a request to access an existing record.
The number is comprised of three parts:
- The year we received the application
- An application identifier, like “BRE” for “BREWERY”
- A system-generated number, like “-12345-O”
