Thirty-six (36) countries currently have enological practices agreements with the United States.
- Based on the enological agreement between the United States and the eight (8) countries listed below, natural grape wines containing 7 to 24 percent alcohol by volume imported from these countries are not subject to certification requirements:

- Based on the enological practices agreement between the United States and the European Union, natural grape wines containing 0.5 to 22 percent alcohol by volume imported from the twenty-eight (28) countries listed below are not subject to certification requirements:

Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Ireland

NOTE: Based on these agreements, the wine certification exception applies ONLY to natural grape wines containing 7 to 24 percent alcohol by volume imported from the first list of 8 countries and natural grape wines containing 0.5 to 22 percent alcohol by volume imported from the second list of 28 countries. Natural grape wines from the first list of 8 countries containing less than 7 percent alcohol by volume, natural grape wines from the second list of 28 countries containing over 22 percent alcohol by volume, and natural fruit wines from any of the above-listed countries are not exempt from certification requirements.
