Acting Assistant Administrator, Management/Chief Fiscal Officer
Joseph 'Joe' Burruss serves as the Acting Assistant Administrator, Office of Management / Chief Fiscal Officer for the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). In this capacity, Joe is responsible for overseeing the management support functions of the Bureau, which includes financial management, human resources, training and professional development, contracting and procurement, personnel and physical security, health and safety, and facilities management. Joe also serves as the Director of the Finance and Performance Budgeting Division and in this capacity, he is responsible for budget preparation and execution, accounting and financial reporting activities within the bureau.
Mr. Burruss joined TTB in March 2003, and brings to this position extensive senior executive financial and management experience. Mr. Burruss is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland, and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Baltimore.
