CHANGES TO THE BEER STATISTICAL RELEASE (revised August 10, 2015)
On August 10, 2015, we published revised versions of the January 2015 through May 2015 Beer Statistical Releases. The revised versions do not include current month or current year to date data for "Materials Used at Breweries."

The Beer Statistical Release format was changed as a result of a revision we made to the Brewer's Report of Operations forms (TTB F 5130.9 and TTB F 5130.26) in early 2015 (see the TTB Announcement). The operations reports were changed partly in response to a petition from the brewing industry asking TTB to reduce the complexity of the reports and the amount of information required, in particular the "Summary of Materials Used and Wort Produced" section. As a result, the TTB Beer Statistical Releases no longer contain current month or year to date data in the "Materials Used at Breweries" section.

Because some brewers continued to file the old reports after January 2015, we published temporary versions of the January 2015 through May 2015 Beer Statistical Releases that contained current month information in the "Materials Used at Breweries" section; however, this information was not accurate for the entire U.S. brewing industry. We apologize for any confusion this may cause the users of the Beer Statistical Releases.
