Nicole Dunn is the Director, for the Training and Professional Development Division (TPD) of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). In this capacity Ms. Dunn is dedicated to enhancing the future of the agency by facilitating the professional development of employees through a wide range of training courses, developmental programs, guidebooks, and instructor/student materials designed to fully develop the TTB workforce from time of hiring through employee departure.

Prior to joining TTB in 2017, Ms. Dunn converted from the private sector to government service in 2007 with the U.S. Postal Service's Office of the Inspector General where she led an initiative to establish an agency-wide knowledge management portal, a mentoring program for special agents, and an aspiring leaders program. She became the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) at the Federal Trade Commission in 2010 where she revised major policies, established several career development and leadership programs, as well as upgraded the Commissioner's Learning Management system to an electronic system for training and online courses. 

Ms. Dunn obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1995, and a Master of Education in Adult and Online Learning Technologies/Instructional Systems Design. She is a member of the Association for Talent Development, Chief Learning Officers Council, Interagency Career Development Council, and the Federal Organizational Development Community of Practice.
