TTB Assists Hundreds of Brewers at Craft Brewers Conference®

Last week, we attended the Craft Brewers Conference® in Denver, Colorado. With over 7,000 people in attendance, this event provided us with the perfect strategic opportunity to reach hundreds of breweries in both the planning phase and those already in business.

During the conference, we presented our popular TTB Bootcamp for Brewers. This seminar is comprised of 5 segments that cover a range of topics designed to help brewers navigate TTB regulations. New this year were sections on “hard seltzers” and low/no alcohol beers. Check out our presentation slides if you missed the conference or just want handy reference materials on TTB brewery requirements.

We also staffed a booth on the conference trade show floor where we listened to brewers, answered their questions, and provided on-the-spot help to resolve issues with their applications, labels, formulas, and operational reports. Participating in person at this and other conferences helps us to understand what industry is trying to accomplish so that we can approach our regulatory framework in a way that supports industry aspirations.

TTB believes strongly in the mutual benefit of developing relationships with the businesses we regulate so that we can facilitate a thriving industry that understands the requirements that apply to them and to discuss regulatory barriers that we can work together to resolve. Spending time with industry members at a conference like this provides unparalleled opportunities for continuous dialogue and promotes our understanding of industry’s needs.
