Part Three - What to Expect after Submission

Finding your Approval Paperwork

Once your application is approved we will attach documents to the application that certify its final disposition.  These may include an approval letter, permit, registration, notice, bond, power of attorney, and other approval documents as applicable.   To access these documents:

  • Log into Permits Online
  • Select “My Submissions”
  • Select the tracking number of your application, which will have a status of “Approved”
  • Click on the down arrow next to Record Info
  • Select “Supporting Documents and Attachments”
  • In the Attachment List you will see PDF file(s); click on the name of the document, and select "“Open”

Permits Online makes it easy for you to electronically apply for and update the permit, registration, or notice you need to operate a TTB-regulated business. Once you have registered to use Permits Online, just log in and follow the instructions and prompts for submitting your application package. There is no fee to apply.
