California Tobacco Executive Charged in Scheme to Evade Excise Tax on Cigars

On Friday, April 12, 2019, Akrum Alrahib, of Los Angeles, California was arrested after being charged with a conspiracy to evade the payment of over $5 million in excise taxes on imported cigars.
