Mission
The International Affairs Division (IAD) serves as TTB’s liaison and technical advisor on issues related to alcohol beverages and other regulated commodities in the international domain. We accomplish our mission by:
- Supporting the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) and other Federal agencies in the negotiation and implementation of international agreements;
- Engaging with foreign governments, interagency partners, industry stakeholders, and international organizations on TTB’s regulated commodities;
- Representing TTB at international meetings; and
- Facilitating U.S. industry in the import and export of alcohol beverages.
Vision
Be the acknowledged U.S. Government technical advisor on the worldwide trade in alcohol beverages in order to support the Department of Treasury’s goal to rebalance global trade and end unfair practices.
