Your Permits Online password expires every 60 days. Change your password before it expires for continuous access. If you do not change your password on time, your account will be locked. For assistance unlocking your account, please call us at 877-882-3277, or contact us online.
Your password must meet the following requirements:
Minimum of 8 characters
Must contain each of the following:
At least 1 upper-case letter
At least 1 number
At least 1 special character: ! # $ % ^ * ( ) +
Your password cannot:
Contain your user ID
Contain the following special characters: ' " _ = & @
Start with a number or special character
Be any of your previous 10 passwords
Be a password that you have used in the last 48 hours
Step-by-Step: Changing your password before your account is locked
Log in to your Permits Online account
Select Account Management
Select "Edit" in the Login Information bar
Enter your old password, your new password, confirm your new password. Click "Save."
Permits Online makes it easy for you to electronically apply for and update the permit, registration, or notice you need to operate a TTB-regulated business. Once you have registered to use Permits Online, just log in and follow the instructions and prompts for submitting your application package. There is no fee to apply.
NOTE
You cannot use your COLAs Online and/or Formulas Online username and password for this application. To unlock your Permits Online account or if you are having issues with the online application, contact us online or call Customer Support at 877-882-3277.
