Thirty-six (36) countries currently have enological practices agreements with the United States.
- Based on the World Wine Trade Group enological practices agreement between the United States and the eight (8) countries listed below, natural grape wines containing 7 to 24 percent alcohol by volume imported from these countries are not subject to certification requirements:

Uruguay - Based on the enological practices agreement between the United States and the European Union, natural grape wines containing 0.5 to 22 percent alcohol by volume imported from the twenty-seven (27) countries listed below are not subject to certification requirements:

Croatia
Cyprus
Czechia
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Malta
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Slovakia

The Netherlands - Based on the Agreement Between the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on Trade in Wine, natural grape wines containing 7 to 22 percent alcohol by volume imported from the United Kingdom are not subject to certification requirements.
NOTE: Based on these agreements, the wine certification exception applies ONLY to natural grape wines containing 7 to 24 percent alcohol by volume imported from the first list of countries and natural grape wines containing 0.5 to 22 percent alcohol by volume imported from the second list of countries and the United Kingdom. Natural fruit wines from any of the above-listed countries are not exempt from certification requirements.
