On August 13, 2024, we launched the myTTB Chemist Certification service as part of TTB’s Chemist Certification Program. The Chemist Certification Program is a voluntary option that we offer to the alcohol beverage industry to facilitate the export of products to foreign markets. Certain countries require product testing as a condition of entry, and many will accept results from a TTB-certified chemist.
Getting certified just got much easier. Program participants may now apply, submit test results, and access their TTB certificates online. New participants and participants renewing certifications that are expiring should submit their applications through the myTTB Chemist Certification service. Next enrollment period is right around the corner. We are accepting applications for the Fall 2024 Chemist Certification between September 1 - October 1, 2024. Full details on application requirements can be found in TTB Procedure 2018-2, at question 9.
