We are extending several dates associated with the Fall 2025 cycle of the TTB Chemist Certification Program to avoid potential disruptions to industry operations.
Is your certification about to expire?
Current chemist certifications that expire December 31, 2025, will be extended to February 28, 2026.
Are you waiting on a pending application to obtain your certification?
For those who submitted applications during the current Fall 2025 cycle that ended October 1, 2025, the next steps of that process will proceed with adjusted timelines, as follows:
- We will send samples to those applicants in December 2025.
- Applicants must submit data packets regarding those samples to TTB by January 31, 2026.
- We will notify applicants of final decisions regarding certification by February 28, 2026.
