Tracking Numbers
You have submitted your application to TTB. Now let’s discuss what you can expect as your application is processed.
When you submit your application you were assigned different tracking numbers based on the application type submitted. Each initial tracking number is unique, and designed to identify the commodity for which you are applying. The number includes:
- A commodity identifier
- The year of submission
A unique, system-generated number
